About: Shauna Callaghan
I got sick of watching home buyers get screwed over.
It’s honestly my villain origin story.
Watching clients pay through the nose to meet everyone else’s targets, but being left stranded when something went wrong.
Worse still was knowing how to avoid the problems, only to be handed signed contracts with no chance of change.
Fixing others’ mistakes after the fact was draining
I spent months and months fixing from within, but it was futile. I was burning out, and they didn’t care.
As long as the transfer was completed and the commission was paid, everyone moved on - PROUD of themselves.
I couldn’t beat them, so I joined them.
Rather than trying to encourage empathy in mortgage brokers who wouldn’t listen or real estate agents who didn’t care, I developed my own process & strategy.
I created a Rolodex of trusted agents & a Burn Book of “professionals” to steer clear of.
I started training mortgage brokers on how real estate actually works, and real estate agents on the pitfalls of the mortgage process.
I built my own process to factor in both industries, prioritizing the client’s experience (because it is actually a service-based business).
I don’t sell. In fact, I can’t. I tried, and it cost me 12 months and 15 kilos - Never again.
I educate, I advocate & I tell the truth. Although I’m told I can sometimes be a bit blunt.
It is my firm belief that you do not have to screw people over to make money, and to date, it has served me well with repeat clients and referrals.
If you’re buying a home and need a “professional Karen” on your side, you can reach out to me here or schedule a call.
In my world, there are no sales techniques

Educator
Agents & Clients
I’m selective about the agents I work with—and that’s by design. Ethics and professionalism come first, so I partner only with agents who take their role seriously.
I spend time educating and training the agents in my network, because the better informed they are, the smoother the experience is for everyone involved.

Advocator
A Self-Proclaimed Professional Karen
I don’t think it’s wrong to have standards when dealing with professionals. I expect these billion-dollar companies (and banks) to know what they’re doing.
Having learned all their internal systems, it’s become hard for them to give me the run around.
I will (and have) sit in the developer’s office for 6 hours until they did what they were supposed to do. -

Avid Learner
Two Industries with an Ever-Changing Landscape
When I moved here, I had the booksmarts. Boots on the ground is a different story. Dubai smarts come only through experience.
I could write books about the industry - it’s fascinating, but learning never stops.
